Mindful Market™ is a VR experience designed to help patients regain executive function, working memory, and resilience within the context of activities of daily living (ADLs) with the assistance of a therapist. In the game, patients enter a courtyard with three different activities: Sandwich Shop, where the player prepares and serves sandwiches to customers, Harvest Helper, where the player helps a farmer sort her delivery of animal feed, and Stamp Stand, where players practice mental math and memory while selling stamps to fit each customer’s budget. Filament assisted Penumbra in updating the existing game’s backend.

I was responsible for the ui elements in 3D space, in addition to the UX flow and placements of objects in 3D space. Also, I was the VFX artist for the project. In addition responsible for how the hands grabbed objects, and creating and prototype 3D assets to solve complex situations in game performance.
(note) most 3D art and character art was made by Meghan the 3D artist on the project.
tools I used were Unreal Engine, 3Dsmax, Substance painter, Texture packer, ninja vfx, Figma, Protopie, Adobe: mostly Illustrator, photoshop, after effects.
